Video editing on the iPad Pro? I thought it’d be a fun/stupid idea to try and edit an entire video from start to finish on the 2018 iPad Pro and honestly, it surprised me big time.

  1. I tried to edit a picture once and that didn't turn out well it must be 100 times harder for a video and it only took 17 mins for Jonathan to do it

  2. i'd be interested in the youtuber slowing down and enunciating so that anyone can understand him. is there a post correction for that?

  3. Noooooo you have to color correct BEFORE you color grade and for those of you who think it's the same thing YOU'RE WRONG

  4. As far as we've come, and as cool as this is, I still don't think we're there. Does this work? Sure. But, IMO, why deal with all the trade-offs when traditional laptops are so small, powerful, affordable and do so much more? I'll stick to my laptop running Premiere Pro. For now, at least.

  5. iOS is no more the future!
    It is the present!
    Argue with your ancestors!
    The future is here!
    This is not “traditional”
    This is “alternative”
This is just another way to get the job done!

  6. Hi. Maybe you can help me with a problem that I have. I'm using the iPad Pro 11" and I tried playing back HLG3 files on it and it will re-spring the iPad making it impossible to edit them in LumaFusion. iMovie, however, can play and edit them. I just want to know what kind of color profile you are using for your videos since I'm also using the Sony A7iii. Thanks!

  7. Really cool watching you go through the motions. This is insane. I have a 2014 MBP that works fine but it runs so hot and I've been getting issues of the laptop shutting down when overtaxed. I'm in the market for getting something that can edit 4k video and RAW photos from my Fuji X-T3/X-H1/GFX 50R. Is this something that you could recommend as a pure content creation tool versus dropping $$$ on a tower rig or a new laptop?

  8. This app looks fantastic! Still have a long way to go in terms of replacing a laptop for productivity though, this was really only a basic edit, even if it was conducted skill-fully and with style

  9. Is the iPad pro you used 11” or 12.9”. Im wondering if 11” is bit too small to edit video comfortably. Please let me know. Thannks
